Upon opening the parcel, I thought, my goodness this hat is huge, it will never fit. But once I tried it on, I was so pleased. It fit perfectly, the material is sturdy and strong, and has a great look to it. I've never seen an original in person, so I can't speak to it's quality in replicating that, but it looks and feels superb to me.
Make sure to measure your head before purchasing, I just happened to get lucky because my hat size was the last available size left in stock.

Haven''t ordered one of these but the original British Army instructions were to wear (at least) one size larger than your normal head size to ensure the correct fit with this style of cap....I have several originals....my own head size is 7 & 1/8 and an original cap in this size is just too small....plus, there existed variations between manufacturers....I have com pared 3 x NOS caps all the same size but from different manufacturers and dated 1940-43 and even then they vary in shape/size considerably.....the advice is...GO BIG !!!!

Very fast delivery. As others have suggested, ordered a size up from my normal size and it fits perfectly, very good quality, the only quibble is that the cap is fitted with QC style buttons which will need changing to KC General Service buttons
