I normally wear an XL top. I just planned to wear it over a t shirt. Ordered a large and it’s perfect. Still roomy enough to allow for shrinkage. Super fast delivery. The smock is awesome and it’s getting lots of positive feedback from other people.

I wear XL in all shirts, jackets, sweatshirts and bought an XL smock. (45” chest). Arrived unbelievably fast. Looks great and feels great, but definitively oversized. I only plan to wear a t shirt underneath. Bought a large and returned the XL. Unless you’re planning on wearing some heavy items underneath I’d recommend ordering one size smaller.

Go to say this is an amazing repro of the Denison smock. You can really tell they put a lot of research in to making the design and everything to make it look as identical as the original. The passion of reproducing this garment and other garments on this website really shows. Hope to see more items like this in the future, especially the Belgian smocks issue during Congo crisis.

I'm very happy with the smock. I'm 5'9" at 195 lbs and ordered the extra large. The smock was a roomy (it was designed to go over your webbing). I ran it thru the wash (hot) and it fits a lot better (100% cotton) and will still accommodate a fleece jacket. Heavy gauge cotton and it looks like it's well put together. Amazing delivery times. UAE to Canada in 7 days.

I've recently purchased the 2nd pattern Denison smock. After doing some research and comparison with originals and repro ones alike, I thought the WPG version looked by far the best. Well I wasn't disappointed! The item is great quality, nicely heavy (not thin and flimsy) and great subtle Camo finishing. Great details too with the collar lining and inside pockets (identical to the original). Very pleased, and very impressed with the great response and service (and delivery time!) from this company.... will recommend!!

Purchased this for reenactor airbornre jumps with RCPT-USA in the States. The 2nd pattern Denison Smock(improved run) is awesome. Material and build is very good. I'm short at only 5'6", 38" chest and 140lb(63Kg, 168cm) and the size small fits good in the chest, and arm length is a little long but ok. Tag reads 5'7" to 6' with chest 36"--39". It is very long in the body for my 5'6" height, hanging almost to my knees. For a thin person 5'9" or 5'10" it would probably be a perfect fit in the body length and arm length. Colors and pattern look great, like the originals. Highly recommend.

The Denison Smock [2nd pattern, improved] is beautifully made and the cloth is very rugged as well as truly windproof. The fit is true to the size listed [XXXL as I am NOT petite] and the cut is generous allowing excellent freedom of movement. The colors and 'brushstroke' pattern match the original based on my research too. All in all it is a great reproduction and will enhance anyone's collection regardless of whether they are simply collectors or re-enactors. I hope that this Smock will become available in the post WWII camouflage patterns used by the British SAS. Overall the Denison Smock [2nd pattern, improved] is a great piece of kit and would still serve our troops well today if it were made in modern camouflage patterns.

I have only one complaint about the Smock... the snaps are too easily opened, as in they pop open at the slightest touch. Not good for securing items in the pockets.

Great quality, very pleased, quick delivery. The sizing issue I had with the full zip is addressed by the provision of a M-L size for 44" which is just right. Cut and finish are superb but the colours are a bit dark overall, hoping it will fade out a bit ! I can recommend this smock as the best in the budget market for value for money.

had to have it let out . xxl is a bit tight considering it was supposed to go over your uniform AND webbing. but then that was 40 years ago and time has taken its toll.

I was overwhelmed by the great selection of fine variations of the WPG Denison Smock offerings. I could not decide whether to buy the UK First Pattern w/Full Zipper new for 2017, or, the 2nd Pattern Denison Smock (Improved Run) - so I purchased both! And I am very happy with both. Material is heavy duty tough as nails. Color fast. Washed one several times and it barely faded. Fit is exactly what I ordered. All in all a fine product. I highly recommend.

Excellent work. The only issues are (1) one of my Newey snaps was missing, the button was apparently put in and then fell out as the fabric has a hole where the snap went (this is disappointing although I should be able to scrounge a replacement from a buddy and fix it myself), and (2) the ape tail buttons on the front are not placed quite correctly. Aside from that, "It's verrah nice" to quote the French from Monty Python's Holy Grail...

Ordered a Denison smock recently. Item arrived very quickly. The item itself was well made, and as described in the original website advert. One thing though, be sure to check your sizings before ordering. I had an XL, as i'm a 42-44" chest. The smock fitted well, but i should have gone for a larger size for more comfort. That's my choice not the company. Recommended.
