Gorgeous! Wanted one ever since saw a set 30 years ago supposedly brought back from the Evacuation of Leopodsville - and these were indeed worn during the Congo / Katanga crisis. But finding a jacket - in larger sizes especially - is near impossible. The pattern is correct, and the colors are close to an original (well worn) example; construction is good, from a twill material like the Portuguese (rather than a canvas the French used), and zippers are metal YKK - just need a green lace pull added. Very excited to have this jacket.

As First Time Customer, very impressed with selection of items. This 47/56 Para Jacket met all my expectations. Sizing and fit was Spot-on. 5' 11" at 215, The 44L fits great wlth sleeves at 25 1/2" (usually worn rolled/cuffed most of the time)· Also ordered Bigeared Cap in same camo. Delivery was quick to Midwest USA. Will be ordering from WPG again.

Anyone familiar with the Algerian war knows that this "Tenure Leopard" camo is very hard to find. The 1956 version had serious political connotations and was quickly banned following the Algerian war and the 1961 Generals Putsch. To find an original would be hard. One for modern large sizes harder still. And one that you would actually wear and abuse--impossible! So nice that WPG is making Cold War items as part of its line up. Excellent quality. I ordered a 46 Long (I am 6' 2" and 220lbs) and it fits with plenty of room as it should have. Perfect in every way!

Hi Folks, Jacket arrived quickly. Very good quality garment, perfect fit. Camouflage is perfect reproduction. You can check by watching the film "The Lost Command" starring Anthony Quinn (1960s).
