NOTE: This stuff is getting scarce. This is the only large accumulation of British webbing left in the known world, and it is diminishing rapidly. When it is gone, that is it. Please stop asking when I will "get more." There isn't any more.

British Army Groundsheet. New reproduction of the khaki rubberized groundsheet frequently issued in lieu of the rain cape. This is a khaki cotton tarp rubberized on one size, approximately 36 inches by 72 inches, with plain eyelets punched along the edges. $35 Add to Cart

UK Commando Bergen Rucksack. These are near perfect copies of the WWII style Bergen used by Commandos, SAS, Mountain troops and others. These copies were made in the 1970's. Color is dark OD same as 1944-45 production bergens. The only differences are blue steel strap tips instead of brass, and haul loops sewn onto the front of the shoulder straps (easily removed). Comes complete with steel frame and all the accessory straps. $85 Add to Cart

Blanco (Substitute). After years of searching for more Blanco, or trying to get it made, I have settled on Tarrago Shoe Cream as the best substitute for Blanco in the world. Rubs in with your fingers, doesn't rub off, no mess. Colors available are light khaki green for WWI to early WWII, and dark khaki or olive drab (KG no. 3) for Northwest Europe and Burma. One 50 ml jar should treat a complete set of webbing equipment. Subsequent applications require less. $3  Add to Cart

REPRO WEBBING:

Sten Gun Bandoliers. Due to continuing requests I have produced a new run of these. I think these are better quality than the ones that were offered a few years ago by another company. This time, the chest strap is quite a bit longer than originals to accomodate modern sizes. $75

XL L-straps. At last, L-straps that will allow larger reenactors to wear the small pack on the back. $22/pr. OUT OF STOCK INDEFINITELY

Braces, P-37 Extra Long. These are made up from original NOS webbing. $18/pair

XXL P-37 Web Belts, newly assembled. These are made from NOS webbing and hardware. The webbing is a slightly green khaki color, but is bleached out to more of a khaki color. These belts adjust from 30" to 50". $25

Greek P-37 Small Packs. These are identical to British WWII packs except they do not have the bottom buckles, and therefore cannot be worn as backpacks with L-straps. Still functional as a sidebag or decorative piece, though. Near new condition, but most have some Greek written on them somewhere. Khaki with brass fittings. $9

Large pack, WWII dated, unissued, no straps, $18

NOTE: After WWII the British Army decided the small loop on the back of the braces was unnecessary. Postwar braces never had them, and most war dated braces that had the loop had them thoughtfully removed by HMG. I will provide a pair with the loop when I can, but these are rare.

CHEMICAL WARFARE ITEMS

P44 Lightweight Respirators. The last of the British respirators issued from 1944 to the end of the WWII. Every British soldier carried one of these at Normandy. Respirators are all WWII dated, unissued, with postwar dated filters. The carriers are used, in excellent condition, but the brass belt hooks have been removed by some postwar penny-pinching quartermaster who probably sold them for scrap. $45

Gas Capes. A perfect reproduction of the early war British gas cape in solid Olive Green color. These are made with oilcloth like the originals, but are not sticky. British soldiers soon found that these made excellent raincoats, and used them accordingly. Mine are also good rainwear, but you will have to seal the seams with a tent seam sealer available at any sporting goods store. Available in sizes M, L, XL. Hood not included. $65
Gas Eyeshields Original gas eyeshields, but no longer useable because they are clouded and brittle, so best for display only. $2
Gas Detection Brassard. This is a reproduction of the paper arm brassard as originally produced by the British Army (and later copied by the US Army). It is a more brown color than the US version. These are so close to my original that you will need to test them with mustard gas to tell the difference. $8
Mk VI Respirator Bags, Early war pattern carrier for British respirators. These are Indian pattern, which are closed by a brass stud passing through a stitched eyelet rather than the usual snap fastener. Unissued original, WWII dated and KHAKI, $25
Mk VII Respirator Bag. Produced 1942-44. These are unissued British made carriers, WWII dated (read the second sentence again), in khaki green color. $45
Respirator Bags, P44 (Lightweight), green canvas, unissued, $10

Gammon Grenade. Another British item widely used by American forces. The Gammon grenade was popular for use against armored vehicles. The user filled the stockinette bag with plastic explosive, unscrewed the cap, and threw it at the target. This is a museum quality reproduction modeled from an original grenade. You won't want to throw it at a tank. $35

EDGED WEAPONS & SCABBARDS

Sykes-Fairbairn Second Pattern Commando Dagger. This bag is fitted with a quick release toggle system on the lower part of the bag, and a "Bat Wing" upper part that is designed to allow the user to exit the bag quickly as well as to perform guard functions inside the bag. British Mess Tins. WPG has a wide selection of British style mess tins to suit your particular needs:

A. WWII DATED Mess Tins.
From 1940 until late 1944, British P37 Mess tins were steel with tin plating. WPG has found a stash of these mess tins in used VG condition, with WWII dates and upper and lower pans matched as to manufacturer and date. Most of the tin plating has worn off decades ago.
These are not considered safe for eating. $25

B. WWII UNDATED Mess Tins.
Same as above, but not matched, and left undated by the manufacturer (most British WWII mess tins were in fact not dated). These tins were only made 1940-44, but some people just gotta have a date. If not, go for one of these.
These are not considered safe for eating. $7

C. Late WWII DATED Aluminum Mess Tins.
From late 1944 all mess tins were made of aluminum. These are still safe to eat from. These tins are matched by maker and date, and are in used VG condition, $18

D. Indian Made WWII Dated Mess Tins.
India produced mess tins by welding the sides on. These are clearly embossed with the makers name and date, usually 1941. These rare mess tins are in used VG condition and are matched by maker and date. $20 OUT OF STOCK
