Helmet Nets. After exhausting all supplies of helmet nets of unknown origin available from Europe, I have finally begun making reproductions of the British made nets that were commonly issued to US troops. Original nets were made simultaneously in 3 colors: Olive Drab, Khaki and Brown. I have reproduced the Khaki and OD colors. These are made tight like originals and may require 4 hands to get onto a helmet. HINT: If you wet this net and pull on it for a while, it stretches quite a bit. Also, only pull the drawstring at the knot, knots do not slide through the net. Specify color choice (Khaki or OD), $6
Helmet Net. These are khaki 2" mesh nets, made by cutting up WWII US camouflage nets. This is how the originals were made up by the GI's, and if you see one with a dated tag, it is a swindle. $6
Helmet Net Scrim. I have finally located a supply of authentic looking scrim for helmet nets, but only in two colors: Green and Dark Brown. Two yards of each color (4 yards total) for $10
Military Police Leather Belt
Equipment. From 1941-1948 the US Army issued
this brown leather equipment for MP use. Now WPG
reproduces this scarce equipment. Complete set
consists of M1937 Garrison Belt, Holster Frog with
Shoulder Strap, Magazine Pouch and First Aid Pouch.
After WWII, the Army added a nightstick carrier and
first aid pouch, but these are not included. Belt
$35 (sizes 36-46). Complete Set $115, Holster
Frog w/strap $35, Magazine Pouch $28, First Aid
Pouch $24

Patton Leather Holsters and
Belt Set. This is a stunning recreation of the
famous set worn by General George S. Patton, Jr.
throughout WWII. Set consists of both left and right
holsters, leather belt with US garrison belt buckle,
compass pouch and ammo holder. These holsters are
designed to fit his Colt .45 Single Action Army and
Model 27 Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver. The
dummy firearms illustrated ARE NOT included. The
belt is adjustable out to 44 inches. This set is
made in natural undyed leather. Have your orderly
apply a few coats of brown shoe polish well rubbed
in and it will take on a beautiful russet color and
a high gloss. $185

M1926 Lifebelt . The US
Navy M1926 lifebelt was standard issue for all
assault troops, both Army and Marine, in most of the
amphibious landings of WWII. This WPG reproduction
copies all the details, right down to the markings.
The internal triggers are missing, so it cannot be
inflated with CO2 cartridges, but you can blow it up
through the inflation tubes. These belts adjust out
to 50 inches without undoing the expansion folds.

TENTAGE
 |
Khaki Shelter Half.
This is the open ended type used from
1910 through 1942. It only had one end,
so it took four of them to form a closed
shelter tent. These are new reproduction
in a very tightly woven yet lightweight
cotton duck that will repel water very
effectively. THIS IS ONE SHELTER HALF
ONLY, NO PINS OR POLES. TWO SHELTER
HALVES ARE REQUIRED TO FOR THE TENT
SHOWN IN PHOTO. $32

US WWII production mess tins. From a long-forgotten depot in France. These mess tins have been stored outside for years, and although the stainless steel pans are in great shape, but handles have rusted badly. A few minutes work with a wire wheel or wire brush and lots of WD40 will remove the rust and reveal a WWII date and maker's mark. $9

| Reproduction K-Ration Boxes.
These are probably the finest repro boxes ever made. Several years ago a professional printer and collector set out to make them right.
Not laser or computer copies but made to exacting wartime cardboard specs, copying original dyes and offset printing process. Boxes are die-cut and pre-folded, like the originals for easy assembly.
Also available are boxes for D-Bars in two different styles of font as per the wartime makers.
Finally, Paratrooper Morphine syrette boxes, printed on correct cardboard. Museum quality!
WPG has purchased the remaining inventory. When these are gone, there won't be any more.
Boxes come unassembled and will need to be glued for display.
We've found that Elmer's glue works quick and easy.
There are three types of outer boxes:
Type 1: Plain cardboard with no menu, Early War BREAKFAST or SUPPER ONLY
Type 2: Plain cardboard with menu, Mid War DINNER or SUPPER
Type 3: Camouflage printed with menu, Very late war, (most camo boxes did not reach GI hands until the end of the war and beyond.) SUPPER only
Each box comes with inner and outer boxes. Some folding and gluing required for assembly. $6 per box or any 3 boxes for $15. |
