Luminous Discs. Although widely thought to be a paratrooper item, the luminous disc appears in the TO&E of every infantry unit. It was probably used primarily for marking mortar and machine gun aiming stakes for night fire. But it was also popular in the parachute infantry as a night assembly device. We have recreated the tie-on version, which has two holes for attachment to whatever. Made from metal, with a non-radioactive luminous center that will glow after exposure to light. $9

M43 Jackets and Para Trousers. NOW ON CLOSEOUT!
See the US Combat Uniforms Page for details!
New M43's are quite an improvement over the last run. Fabric is heavier and tighter. Lining is early 43 khaki color, and this time labels are included. Label Picture 1 - Label Picture 2
NOTE: M43 jackets are cut very large, just as they were originally issued. Remember you are accustomed to seeing guys wearing original M43 jackets 2-3 sizes smaller than their QM issue size, so if that is the look you want, order a smaller one. M43's are supposed to fit over: Ike jacket, sweater, wool shirt, wool underwear.
M43 jackets are cut very full. DO NOT order a larger size. DO NOT order a larger size. If you order your normal size you will have plenty of room for layering underneath.
Trousers are sized normally, so you should order a larger size if you intend to wear them over wool trousers.
M43 Jacket Liners are not available anywhere, period. They are quite scarce because few were made, and almost none were issued to troops in Europe during WWII. GI's were expected to wear their Ike jackets and sweaters under the M43 field jacket.
Paratrooper canvas pockets for M43 trousers. These are completely finished and assembled, and ready for your rigger to attach to your M43 trousers. Leg ties are not included. $45

US M2 Parachutists Knife Excellent reproduction of the famed paratrooper of WWII. $50 each or 10 for $400

Please note that these are NOT functioning switchblade knives. The release button and lock button work, but the blade does not open automatically to the fully open position, and must be opened partway by hand. That was the only way to make them legal.
Knife Lanyard for M2 Knife, reproduction, $3

Late war Pattern "envelope" style Overseas caps. According to some "experts" these were the only ones worn by paratroopers (wonder what they wore from 1941-43?). Infantry braid ONLY, all sizes 7 1/4 to 7 3/4 , $25

For Museum quality replicas. See BOOTS page.
Hawkins Mines An exact replica of the No. 75 Hawkins Mine. This is not a paint thinner can with a bracket glued on, but an exact reproduction with the embossed sides and cap. The Hawkins Mine was a British anti-tank mine, but it was widely used by US Forces, especially paratroopers. This is made of heavy gauge steel and weighs 2 pounds for shipping ($6 postage). Send your order through Paypal for fast shipment. $38 ($44 with postage).

Gammon Grenade. Another British item widely used by American forces. The Gammon grenade was popular for use against armored vehicles. The user filled the stockinette bag with plastic explosive, unscrewed the cap, and threw it at the target. This is a museum quality reproduction modeled from an original grenade. You won't want to throw it at a tank. $35

B-3 Mae West. This is an amazingly accurate recreation of the B-3 Life Preserver that was in use at the beginning of WWII by AAF and Paratroops. Exact reproduction of the yellow cloth outer shell, CO2 inflators, and all other external features. There is a piece of rubber inside to simulate the bladder, but this is not
a functioning life vest. Only 500 of these have been made, and they will sell out fast. $150

Rope, Parachutist. I have located another supply of kernmantle construction cotton rope that is nearly identical to the WWII paratrooper letdown rope This time, the rope is a dead ringer for the 2nd Pattern Parachutist Rope (see p. 56, "America's Finest" by Gary Howard). My previous supply of rope was of the 1st Pattern type. Comes coiled in a 33' section. $15
