M1938 Dismounted Raincoat. This is an exact copy of the early war pattern with back cape, made in heavy duty rubberized canvas. In 1942 the QMC tried a number of different substitute materials due to the rubber shortage, but none were fully satisfactory. My repro copies every detail of the original right down to the original label., using original construction technique, which requires 8 man hours to produce one raincoat! This is a rugged item that is actually a bit heavier than an original. Sizes Medium (38-40) Large (42-44) X-Large (46-48) and XXL (50-52), in Regular and Long lengths for all sizes. $130

Updated sizes information on new site and you will

New M43's are quite an improvement over the last run. Fabric is heavier and tighter. Lining is early 43 khaki color, and this time labels are included. Label Picture 1 - Label Picture 2
NOTE: M43 jackets are cut very large, just as they were originally issued. Remember you are accustomed to seeing guys wearing original M43 jackets 2-3 sizes smaller than their QM issue size, so if that is the look you want, order a smaller one. M43's are supposed to fit over: Ike jacket, sweater, wool shirt, wool underwear.
M43 jackets are cut very full. DO NOT order a larger size. DO NOT order a larger size. If you order your normal size you will have plenty of room for layering underneath.
Trousers are sized normally, so you should order a larger size if you intend to wear them over wool trousers.
M43 Jacket Liners are not available anywhere, period. They are quite scarce because few were made, and almost none were issued to troops in Europe during WWII. GI's were expected to wear their Ike jackets and sweaters under the M43 field jacket.

These HBT reproductions are really outstanding. I haven't seen anyone else's new repros, but mine are the best I have ever seen. All my HBT's are made in the mid-war shade OD#7, as adopted in 1943.

WPG has located a stash of WWII supplies that were pilfered from a warehouse in France in 1944 and have recently surfaced. Evidently the black market could not find a use for thse items, so they were never sold until now. These are not bargain priced, as I had to pay dearly for them, but these are items that are very hard to find now. Very limited quantities.
Suspenders, Mountain. These are the khaki trouser suspenders with metal loops on all 6 ends, and no elastic section. Unmarked and undated, paper tag attached to the original bundle clearly identifies these. CLICK HERE to see the tags from the bundles! Also marked size 38, which seems to be the shortest size made. Absolutely mint and unissued, $45

Suspenders, Trouser. Commonly referred to as M1942 suspenders, these were issued to Paratroopers with the M1942 Jump Suit. Remember that original suspenders are short by today's standards. CLICK HERE to see the tags from the bundles!
Mid-war production, dark OD #7, mint unissued. Production of these stopped in late 1943 when the newer M1943 suspenders went into production. $42
