Cartridge Belts, M1923. This is the standard early WWII cartridge belt, with a divider strap in each pocket to hold down individual Springfield cartridge clips. My reproductions are identical to the originals except they extend to 48 inches. Has "US" stamp on the front. These are not the same belts sold by others. They are made with the proper large size eyelets and will not fall apart when you hang a canteen on them. These are extra from the production run I had made for "Band of Brothers." $50. Also shown are my Pistol Belt, and enlisted and officer trouser belts (listed on the uniforms pages).

M1910 Pack, Pre-WWI production, Marked "R.I.A. 1915".
These are dated 1915, identical to WWI production, but in the earlier green color. Made at Rock Island Arsenal. They are in perfect condition and show little if any use, but some storage dirt. I cannot supply matching meat can pouch or pack carrier with this, but I will supply a WWI pattern meat can pouch. $75

USMC M1910 Haversack. This is the slightly different model WWI pack made for the Marines. No US or manufacturer markings. May have typical USMC name stamp. Used, but perfect condition. No meat can pouch or pack tail included. $150

M1943 Jungle Pack in OD7 (with longer shoulder straps). A very nice reproduction of this rare pack, but with longer shoulder straps so you can actually wear it. The jungle pack was issued extensively in the Pacific and CBI Theaters, and saw some use in the ETO as well. $35  Add to Cart
M1943 Jungle Pack

Musette Bags. Great quality reproduction, $45  Add to Cart           M1943 Jungle Pack

Early War M1936 Rubberized Musette Bags. Original bags in used Very Good serviceable condition. Some minor wear to outer fabric and a few minor repairs. Most dated 1942. $75

General Purpose Ammo Bags. Also known as Grenade Bags or Demolition Bags. In 1944 these were authorized at one per rifleman in all Infantry rifle squads, later changed to two per rifleman. New reproduction, KHAKI with OD trim. These are made like 1944 production originals with a hook on one end and a D-ring on the other. No one knows why they were made this way, but by the end of the war many had a hook on each end. These bags require a General Purpose Strap (sold separately) for use as a shoulder bag. The musette bag strap will not work with this bag. General Purpose Straps are not included.. $28 Add to Cart

General Purpose Strap. This is the adjustable strap with a snap hook on each end that replaced the musette bag strap, and was also used with the G.P. ammo bag. These were adopted in 1944 and were probably all O.D. Mine are unissued, Korean War dated, O. D., $5

Bazooka Rocket Bag (2nds). All these bags were made with the carry strap on the wrong side of the bag. Made to carry 3 bazooka rockets. Rockets are not available. $22
Map Case, M1938. Includes shoulder strap and pad. No insert. $40
M1936 Suspenders, new reproduction, extra long length, $35

Reproduction M1910 T-handle Shovels. These are very sturdy and well made, using the original manufacturing techniques. These shovels actually weigh a bit more than originals. Marked "US" on the handle and on the blade tang. Choice of either standard model or shortened "Paratrooper" model. $29.

M1938 Wirecutters. I found a few Danish Army wirecutters. These are identical in every respect to the US WWII issue except for a small Danish mark (HTK) stamped near the top, and parkerized in the early war green tint. Photo shows Danish cutters on left next to an original US cutter.
Mint unissued, $25.

M1910 Shovel Carrier. An economical reproduction of the standard Army issue shovel cover from 1910 to 1944. $12

M1942 Mountain Troop Shovel Cover. A special cover for the M1910 T-handle shovel was issued to mountain troops with the hook mounted near the bottom of the cover instead of near the top, so that it would ride higher on the rucksack or belt. Most of the surviving examples were converted back to regular shovel covers, so originals are very rare. My deluxe reproductions are assembled entirely from vintage canvas, webbing and hardware, so they are identical in every respect to originals except the actual date of manufacture . $18

M1943 Entrenching Tool Carrier, for folding E-tool, reproduction, in khaki with OD7 trim, $15
Add to Cart

M43 Entrenching Tool Carriers. This is the first version of the carrier for the folding entrenching tool cleverly copied from the Germans. This cover was made only in 1943, with the belt hook sewn in place. The 1944 version has 3 sets of eyelets for adjusting the position of the belt hook. The 1943 versions were made in various combinations of khaki (YAY!) and the dreaded OD #7 ("Oh sergeant, this clashes with my equipment, I can't wear it!"). All are slightly used, which means the top cover was instantly damaged by the sharp edges of the E-tool. Otherwise, they are in excellent condition with sharp markings.
Mostly OD, but still 1943 dated, $25

M1938 Wirecutter Carrier. Original, unissued, khaki with OD7 trim, 1944 dated. $12

M1928 Meat Can Pouch for M1928 Haversack. Unissued condition, $7

Mess Kits, dated 1917-18, used, dented, some corrosion, but will clean up OK, $18

US WWII production mess tins. From a long-forgotten depot in France. These mess tins have been stored outside for years, and although the stainless steel pans are in great shape, but handles have rusted badly. A few minutes work with a wire wheel or wire brush and lots of WD40 will remove the rust and reveal a WWII date and maker's mark. $9

Attaching strap for M1928 Pack Carrier. The M1928 Pack Carrier, variously known as the pack tail or diaper, is attached the M1928 haversack by a leather strap that is frequently missing or damaged. I have located some replacement leather straps in perfect unused condition, complete with the webbing security tape. No, they are not dated. $9

Gas Mask Bag, MIVA1, early war "kidney bag", unused, perfect condition, dusty, with all straps, no contents, $18 Add to Cart
