Sweater is of excellent quality, I would not hesitate to take it out in the field for extended wear. At 5'9 and 220 I was afraid the XL wouldn't fit, but the shoulder seams are right where they should be. the sleeves and body are generously cut. Glad I didn't wait for restock next fall.

This is one of the simplest reproduction items I have bought and yet I think it has become my favorite. I m 6' 3' with long limbs and the XL fits perfect. Looks great, old school but comfortable and warm. I was issued the howard greens in the 80s and this is much classier. The cuff lining looks great as do the epaulet buttons. Nice roomy feel, love it.

Ordered a large ,but was sent a medium,which actually turned out a stroke of luck,as excellent fit.Very pleased with sweater,and super fast delivery.As a footnote I ordered a large after seeing other reviews,I,m a 40 inch chest,and would only normally wear a shirt under it,so as I say medium was just right for me.

Bit confused by the khaki cloth piping on the sleeve cuffs. This may look authentic but the cuffs now have no stretch to allow turn back of the cuff. I am sure the originals, whether issue or user-modified, got round this somehow. Not a complaint, just an observation!

The sweater is as advertised. However, be sure to order a size bigger than you might order otherwise. I'm 6'4", 245lbs no belly...just big. Usually I take an XL but for sleeve length and shoulders I ordered a size up (XXL). Great fit and very well made.

Well-pleased with this - a faithful copy of this classic garment. This pully is actually the LAST version of this iconic garment, dating from the mid/late-1960s and in production in this pattern until around 1971...earlier issues lacked epaulettes (1960s), prior to that the elbow patches only (early 1960s) and the original WW2 version in service up to the late-1950s (no patches at all)........great colour match and all detail good ! Originals of this jersey all now impossible to find ! Can we have a patchless-version in RAF blue-grey please Jerry ? (issued to RAF aircrew).....thanks again :o)

Perhaps there is a certain anatomical reference suggested by the look of the Commando Sweater, its boat neck opening and your pumpkinhead sticking through? It IS different, but that's what makes it so cool. Apart from its unique design, you will also be pleased with the quality. I test drove the sweater today with some APC jeans, an olive tartan shirt, brown Alden longwings and drew no stares. 41" chest here with somewhat long limbs. Large is the right size for me.
