38' waist, 6ft tall and I bought the 38. Fit like a pair of jodhpurs that fit well and sit well. Know what I mean! Wool is think and the construction is solid. At first I thought, they are too big, but once on, they are perfect. Ride all day or just strut around they look the part. Nice and warm in winter. Look great with blue, black, khaki, even another tartan. Get them whilst they are on the market, you are never going to get a pair of 'big boy' pants like these every again.
And in case you are wondering, yes I love them.

Very nice breeches-the quality is great and the measure is correct.The pants could be more comfortable if cotton Drill was lined to inside of legs, but I use a long legs underwear for my motorcycle rides with my Royal Enfield.A very quick postage, DHL is a real good service.

These are the finest quality breeches I own, and I have around 12 pairs. They fit perfectly with no alterations. Be aware the fabric is quite thick (as stated in the description), so I probably won't wear these for my summer tweed ride here in Hawai'i, but for fall or winter they will be great! These breeches are extremely well made ,fine quality, made to exact reproduction standards. Jerry did not have 42 long so I bought the last pair of 40 longs. A little tight but I will lose weight because they are too nice to give back. The side extensions are great. I wish WPG would make some putees that fit over jodphur boots. I hope WPG makes more of these items.
