Got the 15/33. The sleeves will end up at about 32.5 after hot wash and dryer.
It's not obvious from the photos that this shirt has a convertible collar and not a placket front for the buttons, like the officer's shirt has.
It can be worn with or without a tie.
The Navy officers wore these in the Pacific, without the tie, with the collar open.
This was an Army style shirt that the Navy adopted around 1943 given manufacturing and shortage problems in having different designs for Navy and Army shirts, such as the style of the pocket flap (this being the Army flap).
For ease of washing and wearing, I'm going to run a stitch, from the collar to the front tail, to tack down that inside flap on the left where the button holes are.
This will be a great shirt.
